I was just wondering, is there any way the dove and the parrotlet could possible have babies? I know that may sound ridiculous, but the parrotlet is seriously in love with her, and I was just wondering.
No, it can't happen. There is a coating around the egg of every animal and only certain sperm can get through. So sometimes you can cross very simmilar animals like a donkey and horse and get a sterile baby. However when two animals are too different it can't be done. So a hookbill and a softbill will not produce anymore babies than a cat and a dog. So no worries!
