Hi all! We stumbled upon Parrotlets a few weeks ago by random chance, saw a rehome on our local Facebook group and although he found another home, the owner was kind enough to point us to a local good breeder. We got a blue male as a surprise gift for my mother in law, who has been talking about getting a lovebird for months but hasn’t taken the plunge. I picked up blue boy a week early and fell head over heels. So in a couple of weeks we’ll be picking up the white boy below. Thank you all for this forum, it’s been so helpful with diet selection, cage set-up, and handling tips. The week with blue boy has gone so well, he was stressed for one day and by day two was yelling at me to come get him out of the cage. 😄 Can’t wait to start bonding with Sparkle/Glitter (my 3 year old is picking the name).
