I live in Toronto and it's loganberry season...the small dark blue berries which grow off small bushes...not many people eat them.

I gave some to my plet not really thinking about it, and im not sure if its the sugar or something else but she started flipping out after she ate it all. Flapping her wings in her catch and getting all hyper.

Does anyone have experience with giving their birdy loganberries?

Never fed them, never had them... but here are a few snippets about safe foods:

Fruits: Apples (seeds removed), peaches, bananas, all melons, mango, pomegranates, grapes, oranges, strawberries, papaya, kiwi, plums, all berries, pears, grapefruit, nectarines, pitted cherries and just about everything else except avocados. Care when feeding citrus fruits is a must as too much can cause problems. More than twice a week is not advised.--http://www.birdsnways.com/wisdom/ww48eii.htm

The last one, for african grey parrots, is the only one that specifically lists loganberries.

Lol sounds like my female budge when a favorite food is all gone. Temper tantrums galore.
