Hey guys
Bird preens a lot, but it seems the normal amount for a parrotlet and he mainly does it when he is happy so that's good. But whenever he eats or drinks he rubs his beak everywhere!! Obsessively he rubs it on perches, the cage, his toys (it is the only time he touches his toys). At first I thought he might be dirty but his beak looks clean. He is about done molting now but he also itches his head, face and around his beak especially after he eats/drinks. Anyone have any idea why's going on? Is this a problem? What can I do to help? He does this when he seems very content but it seems a bit uncomfortable if he is so itchy?
Thanks
