Hi Everyone,

is anyone able to tell me the gender of my 4 month old parrotlet? The first picture is at 2 months old. With the wings open. The rest are from today at 4.5 months. I am extremely confused.We thought the baby was a he, but are not so sure anymore.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi there - welcome to the forum! What a beauty you have there! I would say he’s a he but there are other members who are much more versed at this than I am. Is there a reason you are thinking it’s a girl?

Hello and welcome! You have probably received information from other sources to confirm but in my humble opinion, your beautiful blue parrotlet is definitely a male. A glimpse of the wing feathers in the middle picture, top row, tell me all I need to know. Have fun with your little guy!
