Female is in nestbox ocasionally

Hi friends,

I have a mauve colored female (Maggan) and a pacific blue male parrotlet (Gizmo). The male is 3 years old and the female is 1 1/2 years old. I have seen them breed a few times the past couple of weeks and she has recently been inside the nestbox, stayed there an hour or two then leave the box. This repeats itself troughout the day. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. This would be the first clutch for the female and i intend on taking care of the babies if the female ”neglects” the babies. I am willing to do whatever it takes to give them the best start in their lives. The female doesn’t seem ”fat” but could she be feeling pregnant?
Is the box visiting a normal behaviour? What could it mean?
