Can someone please describe for me the difference between fallow and lutino. I know lutino is the yellow with red eyes and fallow can be any color with the red eyes, but that seems too over simplified. Is that all there is, or is there more to it? I have a feeling there is more to it and I'd like to understand the difference. Trying to get involved in breeding and have a couple of birds split fallow and may have an opportunity to get a young lutino. I want to gather as much information as possible and haven't been able to find an answer online. Thank you for any help.

Lutino parrotlets are all yellow with red eyes and where the blue would be on a green male is white on a lutino male.

The Fallow Parrotlet is a greenish/yellow (not bright yellow like the lution) colored bird with red eyes. Fallow males have a yellow face and the blue markings that the male green parrotlets have. The females are a duller version without the blue markings the males have..
