There was a bonded pair of parrotlets at a local pet store I live in a small town and not many people buy birds, so they have been there for a while. They had one clutch but didn’t sit on the eggs, supposedly due to environment some months back. I brought them home today and two tiny eggs are in the nest. Mom was in there for a while now she out with dad they keep mating and chewing on the basket style next box. Any advice on how to assist on a successful process as I wasn’t expecting this to happen so fast. Thanks in advance.

My name is pierrot
I am a new member on this forum, I have a problem because my job is to raise chickens, so I am facing a problem because there are rats running in my chicken coop, so I ask our friends here for advice.
We are a parrotlet site and most of us do not know about chickens much.

Yeah leave them alone expect some failures at first I now generally get 6 out of 7 babies to thrive. At first 3 was a success. When she starts setting you'll only see her come out to poop once or twice a day he'll feed her and they'll both feed the babies till he gets tired of em then he will do what it takes to get rid of them.. you'll need to remove the oldest ones so he won't kill them. Good luck...
