I usually buy from Amazon. Get it freshest there from my experience. Sometimes I have gotten more than I needed, freezing works in such cases

Never thought of freezing. That’s a clever idea. I get my millet from Amazon as well but there is always so much.

I buy mine from our local bird stores, I never thought of freezing but I do put it in refrigerator. I only take out one sprig at a time and cut into smaller pieces.

Millet spray is very fattening for birds so should only be given for a treat. You could put a small amount of millet spray once a week to your cage as long as your birds are getting adequate exercise.

Well Piko loves it. He's an extremely active bird and he's basically out of his cage unless he's sleeping. He has a variety of food and while he loves millet he doesn't devour it. Plus it's great for training!
