I have a 4 month old parrotlet named Kiwi.
Everything has been good in the past 3 months. No changes in diet, no changes in stool everything seemed to be fine. I took him out of his around 10pm this evening and realized that he isn’t moving much and his head seemed to be tilted down. I thought that he may have been too cold so I got him a blanket and a heat lamp and placed it on its lowest setting. I let him rest for a bit and checked on him 10 hours later and he seemed to have gone back to normal. He is flying, drinking his water etc.

Does anyone know what could’ve happened?

Not sure, I would watch him closely because they hide sickness well. Just keep an eye out for any other lethargy or lack of eating, sitting on the bottom of the cage, sleeping too much... things like that. If you notice any of those things I would take him to the vet

took him out at 10pm? Why? Most parrotlets are in sleep mode at that time.

Yeah he may have been tired because most parrotlets have settled down by 10PM. Is that a regular occurrence to play with him at night?
