A bird tree that is great for foraging

I have been wanting to get Pugsley a grapewood bird tree for a while. But up to a couple of months ago, he was still pretty clumsy - partly from still being a baby, and partly from his nails being too long. It made it hard for him to grip properly, and he was falling and slipping off things. Now that he has been keeping his nails short, things have improved immensely so I went and ordered this tree. Only $40 on Etsy (BloomsNBranches). I am very pleased with it. And Pugsley is one happy bird! He almost lost his little birdie mind when he first saw it! lol He was so excited. He loves to climb all over it looking for yummies. The branches have little openings and places to stash treats. I heard that birds in the wild spend 70% of their day foraging, and our pet birds spend 5% or less. So not only is this a great place for Pugsley to perch, climb and land, it is also helping to satisfy his natural instinct to forage for food. Just thought I would share this with you guys in case anyone is looking for a bird tree. Every bird is different, of course, so just because my bird loves this, does not means yours will. But most of the reviews indicated their birds loved them. P.S. I will be adding a few toys to it eventually.
