Decorative eucalyptus

This is my first time posting. I have had my parrotlet for one month. I don't use teflon, scented oils, candles, or any sprays. I do have a decorative eucalyptus wreath and a vase with sprigs of dried eucalyptus. They are from a local craft store chain. They packaging said "natural" and I love the fragrance but are they safe? One is traditional green leaves and the other is reddish in color. I don't know if they are painted or dyed. They are too high up for my bird to reach them and I do not plan on using them as branches. I just wondered if the scent of them was ok around my new little companion.

Natural eucalyptus is safe. Natural fragrance from such a plant is also safe.

Be aware there is no such thing as too high up for a bird. They like high and will go high anytime they can.

Welcome to the site and the discussions. What is your little ones name? We will be interested in hearing about your parrotlet adventures and pictures are welcome.

Thank you for your reply and I'm sorry I accidentally posted in the tech forum. -_-
My bird's name is skye. She is a blue pacific parrotlet. She is about 11 weeks old. For the most part she likes to be in her cage playing and eating but when I sit beside her cage and talk to her she comes to me for cuddles.
