Exclamation ~~~Hoo--Weee! Guess What I Saw?~~~

This whole day, I had this urge to explore the Web and look for a.....parrotlet! I want to do something about getting a bird, but my health issues are dealing me a dark blow.

But, if I had any doubts on making up my mind on what to do, I think I saw something that may have tipped the scales onto the positive side for me.

I saw a beautiful sky blue parrotlet with cobalt blue underwings and cobalt blue markings above his eyes online today around 5 pm. I watched a video of him and he steps up with ease, says "Pretty Bird " in a clear voice, like Bogie did, and was hand fed and trained.

Get this...he was only 8 weeks old! The breeder keeps her p'letts until 12 weeks of age before she sells them. That is what all breeders should do, in my opinion.

All this for $199.00! I sent an e-mail showing interest in him. The breeder is 2 hours from me!

And...He looks like a " Buster " to me. This is a name that I like, but I would have to see if it " fits " his personality. My favorite Aunt used to call me " Buster " when I was 4-5 years old. She is 88 years old now.

Oh! What to do, what to do!????

My wife and I just talked about him. We have to look at all sides. I do not want to get my hopes up too much!

I know they are work and require our time, but this guy could be just what you need to brighten your days. As I have said before, I live alone and during the stay at home time, Pip was my reason for even getting out of bed. There were days when I felt so down, but he managed to cheer me up and keep me company.
Good luck.

Thanks, Anya! When you suggested the name, " Buster ", it reminded me of an aunt who used to call me that name. I used to get into all kinds of ' normal child trouble ' when I was growing up. I made messes, etc.. She used to say, " Okay, Buster! Clean up your mess! "
Sounds like a parrotlet, doesn't it? Messes?

So, if we get him and he proves to be a mess ( I'll bet he does!), then his name will be Buster. I also love the old comedy actor, Buster Keaton! He was a mess!

I called the lady breeder and left a message. She didn't call back, yet. I will get that birdie bird if he is available.
Keep your talons crossed!

Yes! I am actually getting excited about this endeavor. If I can't get Buster, then I will keep looking. I promise that I will send in pics, etc., about him.

David and Vicki

This would be different for me. I love green p'letts like you wouldn't believe, but Sapphire Blue is my birthstone color and my favorite all around color. My eyes are blue with a gold ring around the pupil ( just like my grandmother's eyes!) .
