I am so glad you quit smoking! My mother's father smoked for 60 years and had worked in the coal mines in WVA for 41 years. He was 91 when he died. He never had cancer or black lung! I asked my doctor one day, " How come some people smoke all their lives and never get cancer? " He said, " Simply because their cells never mutated into cancer."
It would have been my luck that if I smoked, I would have gotten cancer because we all carry the cancer agent. My cells would have mutated long ago.
