Thanks! We're looking at less than 2 weeks to get him

He's been put in the cage so the breeder is going to see if he will keep his weight and have no problems. So another week or two and he's here.

Found out that Delta isn't shipping out animals so now I have to go through a carrier service to get the bird which is more $$$$$$$..it's non-stop cash losing on these parrotlets. But its worth it if he's great.

But I did have a bad omen today. After talking to the lady I went outside and saw that our birdhouse outside had babies chirping and went to go get my family to tell them. But when we came outside and got close to the box we saw some debris hanging from it and it was a dead baby bird! Felt so bad for that poor little thing, but that's natures harsh world.

Question

Two nights ago, I was able to get a rare 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep and I had a dream. The first thing I remember from that dream was a scene where me and Vicki were talking to Bogie ( he was alive again and sitting on my lap) and he told me to get a green rump! No kidding!

When I told Vicki about the dream, she got all excited and said, " I guess we will be searching for a green rump! "

I don't know, but that dream was so real! I haven't had a dream that I can remember in a long time! Hmmmm....

You would never be sorry if you chose a “green rump”. They are so sweet. Just harder to find but well worth the wait

Do it!!!!!

I really think a green rump is a perfect fit for you. While all bird's are great, I think you and Vicki would absolutely fall in love with a green rump. Plus it would be a slight change from the other bird's you've had. Almost like just having another parrotlet but most likely one with a friendlier temperament.

Even though I didn't get to see the last bird's brother for long he was also super sweet to me within a minute. I can just see both of you having an absolute blast with how friendly green-rumps are.

Yea I know. I just got so attached to that last bird so quickly it seemed like having a bird like Kiwi all over again. I just always have that fear with birds I don't meet with the bird not clicking with me. It's just an anxiety/fear I put in my head.

But I'm still very excited, and can't imagine finally having another bird in the next week or two. It just seems so surreal again. I'm just glad I found that shipping service cause I would have been so bummed losing out on the green rump again.
