It's so hard. I understand, that sounds a lot like what Tobie went through. I think also something Genetic, it was as though he had a birdie stroke or something.

This is how I think, too! Bogie took a part of my soul when he passed! It was because of the kinds words in this forum that helped me through his passing.

Bo was only around for 6 months, but he has made a tremendous impact on your life. There's got to be something to all this...impression that they seem to leave with us.

Tobie was a good one, for sure.

Bogie was a tough loss, you had him for such a long time and we all knew him so well from your stories. I can honestly say that each one of your little guys takes a piece of heart when they go too. Just reading about Gonzo today made me quite sad. I have to go respond to that post still.

I am not sure what it is about parrotlet. I have had and lost pets over the years but something about our birds hit closer, hurts more. I am not sure how they steal a bit of us but they do.

Bird love is special. It has to be earned, and they love you in a unique way that they don't share with others. Having the trust of these tiny little creature who are so elusive in nature is just so unlike other animals, because they are completely defenseless and yet they choose to fall asleep on you or delecately preen your eyelashes and seek you out to spend time with you. It's just amazing.

Coco will become famous soon enough

All of you make me crying like a baby and miss my Timmy
He’s the most sweetest and layback parrotlet I ever known. He would sit in my pocket or handbag for hour, only come out to poop or want to eat or drink. Still think and dream of him everyday.
Miss you all too. I had bad case of vertigo and can not come here for about 6 months.

That is such a stunning photo. Funny they have no idea how much they mean to us silly humans.

No dear, he passed away. He was ill, I lost him Nov 26. Don't feel bad you didn't know, it's hard to keep up with all the posts sometimes.
