Thank you, NorthernGannet! You are so sweet! I'm going to order the small one!

I'm using natural untreated white cotton to make it. I know that cotton can unravel and be ingested by birds, but because it's for her playstaion, and I keep an eye on her when she is out of her cage, I don't think it will be a concern. If this one comes out and she likes it, I may make one for her flight cage out of hemp rope.

I do not see Huey chewing on his toys or do I see him playing with them. The exception is when he is in his travel cage in the car. He goes crazy for the chew toys. I bought him the pineapple chew toy and it hung in his cage, this is the exact same one he has in his travel cage that he goes to town on.

Hi Rizzie! I love reading about everyone's birds. That is so funny that Huey mostly plays with his toys in his travel cage while he is in the car. What a character! Glad he likes his pineapple chew toy, too! That'a boy, Huey!

Guys, I had to post this video for you to watch. It's the Catalina eaglet playing with a "toy" - One of the parents left a block of wood at the nest and Champion has been playing with it. At one point, she flies off with it, but comes back to the nest with it. Watching this is just too cute. I ought to show this to Cleopatra.

At the very beginning of that clip the eagle makes a call, and all 5 of my little birds dropped what they were doing (literally) and froze. Even my loud guy who yells at the birds outside went silent for this eagle! LOL

Are you kidding me? All five of them did that? LOL That is too funny! Smart birdies. They know a predator when they hear one. Will you kindly apologize to each and every one of your little guys for me? Tell them Auntie Anya didnít mean to scare them.

Cleoparta will freeze when she hears crows outside. She actually ducks down low on her perch so they donít see her.

Early on Bo and Jules like to windows sit. We had a branch in the window for them to. I came into the room one day and they were frozen. Turns out there was a hawk sitting on the deck next door watching them and Bo and Jules were not moving. I went and chased the hawk away. Bo and Jules unfroze but never window sat again.

They observe and remember. Very smart little fellows they are.
