Trying to get Pacos foot back through the cage bars , after she somehow manages to stick it through there and she is terrified and squawking and screeching ! Of course you need to do this while she is scared, biting , and trying to do it herself, without hurting her . All in a days work I guess ?
Trying to get your bird in the cage when your already late for work and having them stubbornly clamp their feet around your finger as tight as they possible can.
When you get home from work, take him out and ask him for a kiss but he nips you with a mean kiss like he's so peed off because he's trying to find something he's not allowed to play with anymore (still the spray cleaning bottle even though I got a different one).
There is nothing like bending over next to the kitchen table and picking up a dozen or so bottle caps off the floor when, all of a sudden, Bogie decides it would be funny to push the salt shaker onto the back of my neck and salt goes all over me and the floor because the lid came off.
He then lowered his head and spread his wings while chirping at me. My wife saw this and had to change her PJ's because she was laughing so hard.( she couldn't hold it in) I didn't think it was funny.....

I'm sorry, David....but I almost had to go change my pants I was laughing so hard at this description of Bogie. He was clearly laughing at you, the little stinker!
Having to remove all jewelry from everybody when they enter the house to keep Jules from eating it. So far mom is down 2 necklaces and an earring, my wife will not tell me how many of my past gifts to her have been lost to Jules beak of death's vice grip.

Yesterday she decided to hang out in her travel carrier that was resting on Nichi's cage. The travel carrier that we have to force her in to, in the pet room that she despises. I am sure she was bragging that she got to have play time and Nichi was stuck inside her cage.
There's nothing like... buying a new lampshade to replace the one Percy trashed, only for the new one to become a huge new shredding toy at least he's happy
Going to a friends house for dinner, clearing off the table, and finding a little dry poo-doo on the dinner table right where your husband was sitting.....
There's nothing like getting Otis a new toy and hearing his enthusiastic chirps and shrills of joy, and followed up by his ferocity when I have to rearrange/or remove toys from his cage to fit it in. hahaha
Last night he got some new toys, and of course I was rearranging his cage so what began as small cries, turned to warning nips, and eventually became a full on attack. Towards the end of it I was laughing as my partner was barricading my hands from Otis with his phone!
Nothing like rolling over in bed at night and realizing that the hard spot on the pillowcase that you just put your face on is where Jules was sitting earlier in the day sunning herself. (among other things)
There is nothing like trying to get a piece of gum out of its packaging while your p'let is going wild trying to attack it fiercely, frequently missing the packaging and getting you instead!
There's nothing like spending a bunch of money on weird sprouts and veggies I don't usually eat, spending my first waking morning minutes in the kitchen, finely dicing the strange variety, presenting it to Milly, and hearing her tiny, happy pip-pips upon tasting an exciting new food for the first time!
Introducing her to new veggies and hearing her enthusiastic approval is something I live for
When Daisy allows me to try something new with her. Her newest is that she lets me pet her (like a dog!) down her back. She closes her eyes and makes those little beaky-clicking noises that tells me she loves this new activity!
