Hi Barbara, I’m hoping you might be able to help

I have come to the painful decision that I need to find Corby a new home where he will receive more than I am able to give him. But I need to be sure he will be loved. Do you have any NJ/PA friends who might be interested in this little guy? He is sweet yet very shy. If not, I will post it on the forum. Yet I fear the backlash I may receive.

Corby was a surprise gift and I was not prepared. I have truly tried my best. But he needs and deserves more. I am watching this sweet little bird with so much potential locked in a cage. I’ve had him almost a year yet other than the two times he got out by accident, he’s never out of his cage. He has lots of toys but only bothers with one and even that is only occasionally.
I have two cages, toys, a playground .... if someone can promise to love him I would give my sweet Corby and all his things to a loving home.

I'm from Bergen County, NJ. Pretty close to NYC. We're going to have a big storm tomorrow afternoon/evening apparently.

Thank you :) HRH Timothy is so pretty too.
In our country they are not very expensive, Boris and Rufus set me back what equals to USD 50 each - but our parrotlets are priceless :)

I hope the greens are the healthiest! Love the other colors, but didn't want to invest --- big price jump from green to blue, even more for a yellow.

I never saw a turquoise in real life. Timmy is just the regular green but of course to me he's the most beautiful bird in the world. :)

His back is mostly shades of olive/grey. the belly, a soft blue/white. It makes the color of his green head & blue feathers stand out

Hi. My 1st message. Thank you.
Peete was just described as a turquoise. I don't know his lineage. I could find out. The breeder is local.

Yeah, I hadn't hear of it either until my cat got sick when I switched her food (on the vets recommendation due to a suspected food allergy) to a food that had Copper Sulfate in it. Her previous food did not. So yeah, after that I switched everyone's food to a food without it, but was surprised that it was almost impossible to find a food that didn't have it!

oh ok, maybe i need to try a different size. my cat almost died from copper sulfate in her food and apparently it is toxic to pets so i wonder why it is in almost all pet food! -__-
