That fairly normal when they first come home. Don't worry too much as she will back off the millet in due time. When I first got Kiwi he ate mostly millet and seeds. Over time he's started eating a variety. If you have some of the nutriberries try crumbling up a few of them for her. It took about two weeks of him trying these before he decided he liked them. Now I don't have to break them up at all. The other thing he absolutely loves is his sprouts. He will eat these over anything else. I tried using just a mung bean at first and some other seeds but they were all a bust. Then I got the sprouter with the "little bird mix" from and for some reason he loves this brand.

Scott, I saw you message to me on YouTube but didn't know how to respond there so I will on here. It sounds like you Itty Bitty is starting to come out of her shell. It won't be long and you'll have a hard time remembering her shy stage! Thank you for all your kind sure is fun sharing with everyone!

Thanks for the friends request. I don't get this forum much anymore since I lost my Bart in Jan. 2014. You request brought me to the site and I broke down in tears. I had Bart for 15+ years and I still miss him. He was very hands on and loved the attention.

I'm a linnie owner now. Linnies are quiet, non-destructive and very gentle. They are talkers too. Good for apt. Parrotlets have big attitude and can be destructive, but are great apt. bird like the linnie. I thought my linnie was female as the pet store told me, but just found the breeder and looking like a male. I'm checking with the vet Mon. I was able to get the hatch date, May 09/13. My linnie will be a year soon, but I only got her in mid. Feb. 2014. Right now the name is LuLu for my linnie.

PS: You need any info on Parrotlets, I will try my best to be of help.
