It took some time and a lot of patience (mostly on my part
). I try to spend as much time as possible with her and I try to make sure that if stuff is going on with the family, that she is really involved (visits, dinner, even watching tv). I think a really big part of it is remember just how smart these little guys are! ^^ I've come up with this little theory that you don't tell a parrotlet, you ask a parrotlet... 
My family thinks I'm a little crazy... ^^ -
