Announcing My Resignation

Hello everyone,

I made an announcement to my fellow mods this morning and now I want to share with all of you, I will be resigning as moderator as soon as a replacement can be found. I am a newlywed working two jobs and holding down a flock of ten, a dog with the energy of five, and a horse, and I'm afraid I'm just not able to make it onto TalkParrotlets enough to be a really good moderator - right now I'm lucky to make it on here once a day to check in, and my actual posts are even rarer than that.

The TalkParrotlets community was my first avian home on the internet and I learned so much from our members, senior and junior alike. I never would have been prepared for parronting without you! This place has an atmosphere that is uncommon on the web and I encourage all of you to continue to care for and learn from each other just as I have from you.

I'll be staying on as a regular member and I'll post when I can :)

Wow, you are definitely one busy lady.
First off, I'd like to thank you for your wonderful words of wisdom. You don't know how much they have helped myself and many others here.
Secondly I just want to wish you all of the best. You deserve all the happiness that is in your world.

I feel tired just by reading about your schedule! There is no point in being a mod if you don't have the time, I think that everyone can understand that. Thank you for all the work you've done so far, I hope you still stick around as a "regular" member!

Being a moderator can be very time consuming! How well I understand that concept. You've done a great job and you will be missed in moderator capacity. However, we all have private lives and that can't be forgotten. Our time is only divisible so many ways so this sounds like a wise decision for you.
