How do I get a "URL" to post pics?

Hello,
When I try to attach an image, it asks me for a URL. I know what it means, but my pictures don't have one. Do I need to open an account at some place like PhotoBucket to be able to do this more easily?

Yeah, I have seen a lot of people on here using photobucket & have heard that it is the best. Then you just add the URL or if the picture is too big, attatch the link. :D

I upload my photos to Photobucket simply for convenience. Once you've done that, Photobucket will show you 4 different choices for links. The one you want is a direct link. Copy the direct link from there and post it here. To post the link here, you can already have started your message and just do Ctrl + V to paste it. If you have more than one photo, open your message in one tab of your browser and your Photobucket page in another tab. That way you can go back and forth without saving your message here, going to get another link, opening your message again, and pasting the second link.
