Hello I've just joined! I've had 1 parrotlet named skip but unfortunately he passed away some time ago. I love all birds and currently own 2 budgies (have owned 10 all my life) and a dog. (I am a member on talkbudgies.com!)

I'd love to hear about all of your wonderful parrotlets!

Hello birdibabi tell us about your p'let what caused it to pass away. I always pray mine lives for a very long time. I think that a bird passing is horrible but you can learn from others experience.
we all hope ours will never get sick but stuff happens even with the best of care. Can you share if I'm not being insensitive you may help someone else.

Welcome to the board. I too am a new member here. I am owned by 2 parrotlets Booger 17 months and Scooter 3 months. Do you plan on getting another parrotlet in the future?

Skip died of Chlamydiosis. After a while the vet said he they couldn't do anything more.

He was a blue winged p'let and he was very loveable. (sorry no pictures....I don't think I had a digital camera at the time)
