nylon cord

I was going to knit a net out of nylon cord. Is it safe to do that. Some places say no.....

I would not (and do not) use nylon cord around any of my birds. If it's not a natural fiber, it won't be digested if ingested. Even natural fibers can be troublesome if swallowed.
