Would it be okay to put a little bit of Harrison's Fine quality Orgainic Pellets in with some of Kiwi's bread or cookies or seed. Just a alittle bit.

I heard of the heavy drinking if the bird is on pellets... but I heard that Harrison's Pellets are good becuase they are orgainic. I have a bag from the cockatiels... that I nevered used.

Would it be alright to just give Kiwi a pinch in his Birdie Bread everyday?

Yes. I use it. I offer it as a side dish to my birds. And I add it in their birdie bread.

Just don't make it their full time food.

And yes, if they eat a lot of it, they get thirsty, and drink a lot of water, which is bad for their kidneys.

Thanks nar1122.

Just wanted to know. It has been in my fridge for some time. I gave Kiwi a peice but he dropped it as soon as I gave it to him.

He might eat it if it is in his food cup. ;)

Yea Oscar drops it too. I guess it's hard for them.
He eats it out of his bowl, so try that. :)

I don't think it is supposed to be refrigerated - seems like I remember my vet saying something about that. But then again the package says you can refrig. 4-6 weeks.

Okay. Thanks Andrea:D

I will be picking up a new bag... because it is kinda old. I haven't given it to Kiwi yet... so don't threat. ;)

Thanks, once again:D :D

You can toss it outside for the outside animals :)

Will do! ;)

I always do that with Kiwi's seed or fresh discarded fruit. I grow wild strawberries. I don't like them... so the birds get them. :D

About it being fresh:

It's definately not fresh, because Harrison's doesn't use preservatives (Amazingly)

LOL
