Looks like Charlie is not only going to keep the tip of his wing but he may also be able to fly! He's growing a lot of new flight feathers and they are looking very good! Even though he can't get very far at the moment, it doesn't stop him from trying to take flight and see how far he can get......
The medication is not really helping his eye (plugged duct) so that issue still needs to be addressed.

Good work MOM. Surprised he is trying to fly with only one eye. Wonder if that will affect his flight.

He can see with both eyes. The problem with the one is drainage. Not quite sure how my avian vet is going to handle that. However, as he grows more flight feathers on his once bad wing, he's managing to get a bit further each time he tries to fly. I'm really glad that the wing issue seems to be resolving itself, as I'm not sure how well Charlie would take to being unflighted. He doesn't have that kind of personality.
