I’m thinking of getting new cages for my plets Beaks & Milo.
Currently they have Hagen flight cages (the brown ones)
I really don’t like them! LoL
Not sure if it’s the color, or I’m sick of them, plus they have really annoying feed dishes on the sides that drive me crazy and I have to tape them shut otherwise they sneak out!

Here is one of the cages I like, what do you think?

Does anyone know if the cages in the condo HQ can be separate from the stand? Or are they attached to the stand?

Thanks!

Hi Amanda - the first cage looks nice. I don't have any experience with it thought but I think that's the same one Grannyat50 just got.

But, I did some research on the 2nd cage set you are looking at.

I decided on getting the A&E version of this cage because of the minor differences. Notably the pegs vs. bumps that hold the cages in place. To answer your question, from what I understand the cage rests on the stand and is held in place by a few screws.

I just got my cage from here. (http://www.allpetfurniture.com/?SSAID=442514&refid=SS442514) (I'm in Canada)

Take a look at my thread http://talkparrotlets.com/showthread.php?t=7227&page=5 (http://talkparrotlets.com/showthread.php?t=7227&page=5)

There is a lot of good info in the whole thread but a lot of detail in the last pages - 5 and on. Jinx n Noodle provided a lot of great pictures too. There is are assembly diagrams and more.

If you have any questions fire away :)

I have a similar cage to the first one, mine's a HQ (one you chose is an A&E). Love it. I had Jinx in it for years, before moving her to the double stack flight cage. The one you linked to is also an A&E. I don't think HQ makes a double stack, they have double side by side flight cage. I have a Kings cage double stack and I love it too, so do my p'lets since they're in that cage now and my African Grey and cockatiel are in ones similar to the first link. All I can say is that my double stack can be separated and used singly, though only one can sit on the stand, the top cage isn't designed to attach to a stand.
