I made a comment on here a couple of weeks ago about Birds Comfort. I was looking for a HQ Flight cage for Zoe. I saw on BBB that they had a "F" rating and was afraid to buy from them. Well, I decided on the Marvelous Gable Cage. Everyone wanted from $250 to over $300 for it. I saw it on Birds Comfort's website on sale for $149. I was very nervous about buying from them. I can now say that I am so glad that I did. I got the cage in 2 days and it was in perfect brand new shape. It is a beautiful cage and Zoe has gone from being a very aggressive bird to a happy bird. Before joining this forum I had had moved her from a bigger cage (thinking it was to big) to a small cage thinking it would be a better fit. She told me immediately that I had made a terriable mistake. She became very mean biting just about screaming when I would come near her. Anyway, I felt that for those people that read my first post that I needed to let you know that I did have a good experience. I would not want a company to lose business based on my comment before I actually gave it a chance.

Hi Pam! Good to hear that things are working out for you and your bird. I've realized that a lot of people will submit a negative review if they have a sour experience but a lot of people who are happy with the product don't usually take the time to do a good review. I'm glad to hear that your sweety is happy - my double stack cage is arriving soon. Both of my birds are sharing a divided breeder cage (only at night) and are out all day long and I can't wait for them to have a huge home too where I can fit all their toys, food, and let them enjoy time in there when I'm not here.

its been a while since Jack got his HQ flight cage but I got it from Birds Comfort. He loves it and the price was really good. Glad you had a good experience with them.

Thanks for posting Pam! I've purchased 2 HQ cages from them, and never had a bit of trouble, so I was really surprised at your original post. So glad all is well. I wonder how the "F" rating came about?
I hope others read this and see that Birds Comfort is an okay place to buy from!

I just felt bad I made a negative comment having never bought anything from them. I thought it only right to say the good that happened when I did buy something. My husband who really doesn't pay attention either way couldn't understand whyshe needed a new cage. He said we just bought her one. After finding this website I realized I had made a mistake by putting her in a such a small cage. I swear it was like magic. We put her in her new cag Wednesday night and it was immediate. She has not fussed or chased me down when I go to change her water and food. She even let me reach in and get her out . She makes like a purring sound. Like a cat. I am getting such a kick outhof watching her with her new cage and toys.

I had the same thing happen -- my birds blossomed when they were put in a larger cage. It was amazing to see how much more active they were! People who see that teeny-tiny bird in that huge cage think it's crazy, but WE know better, don't we!
