I'm giving up on my guys. The more I've tried with Rosa, the more she bites. And while Cecil is half-tame, he still tends to either stalk or threaten my bigger bird. I ended up getting the idea from a different forum to just get them a flight cage of some sort and leave them alone other than to change food/water/toys. I'm just wondering what size cage I should get? I absolutely can NOT swing a double flight, I don't have room for it, and if I'm not going to be able to interact with them, there's no way I'm spending that kind of money on them. Would a single flight, or one of the knock offs that is around that size be okay, or is there another sort of cage that would be better and that doesn't cost so much?

Why don't you try and re-home them? It doesn't cost much to advertise and someone else might love to have them. You could try and recover your cost or, if that isn't so important, sell them at a lesser price to someone that you know would give them a good home. I myself, would not insist that they go together either. They might be happier being the only bird somewhere.

I'm sorry you're not having any success with your P'lets. Sometimes it just isn't a good fit for the bird or the person. There's a form in the Parrotlet Talk section of this forum that you can use if you do decide to rehome them.

If you decide to get a cage and house them together, the HQ cage is highly recommened on this forum (see the housing section). I have 2 of them myself, one for my P'let and one for my Conure.

Good luck with your decision -- I hope everything works out for the best for you and your birds.
