I would like to get Zoe a HQ cage. Since they have the best pricing I called Birds Comfort today to find out how much it would cost for shipping. The phone was just answered "Hello" no business name. The lady was very nice. WHen I gave her my zip code she told me that I live close to the warehouse (Baltimore). If I wanted to pick it up I could save the $25 shipping. I asked her the address of the warehouse and she will not give it to me until I pay for it first. I want to make sure that it is not to far from my house. So my question is has anyone had any problems with this company before. I went to the BBB and it has an F rating. I just want to make sure that this is a legit company.
Thanks.

Yikes, with an F rating and an unprofessional phone manner, I would be looking elsewhere! Getting the best price is only good if you're getting the best product, and you don't want to get set up or scammed.

I have purchased the HQ cage from this company a few times before and always had a very positive experience. There price is the best I've found, and they have free shipping.

That is a good price . I got both of mine from http://www.americas-pet-store.com/hq-13221-aviary-flight-bird-cage.html and had great service from them too... but they are $10.00 more...also with free shipping.

WOW! I purchased 2 HQ's from Birds Comfort, but just through their website, didn't talk to anyone, and everything was fine. BUT if they have an "F" rating, better look elsewhere. That was a strange response from the woman you talked to! Why not pick one of the suggestions above and check them out, plus do a general search for HQ Flight Cage and see what you can find.
I got my first HQ from Windy City Parrots, but their price is sky high right now!
Some sellers sell new ones on eBay, so you might check there too.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone so much for getting back to me. I know sometimes I forget when I answer my work phone and just say hello. However, before I commit to picking something up I wanted to make sure I would be able to get there. She would not give me the address unless I paid first. She would only give me the zip code. It made me nervous that is when I looked it up on the BBB. I really want this cage so I think I am going with America's Pet Store. They have the next best price. Thanks again.

I get mine at love on the wing in MN. I believe there is free shipping (I live in MN so I pick it up at the store), but I know they'll beat everybody elses' price if you show them somebody else that is cheaper. But prices are not listed online, but if you call them they tell you exactly what it is. I've always had good customer service with them:)

I"ve been very happy ordering cages from Birds Comfort. I think many of the cages will ship "directly" from the manufacturer's warehouse, so you may have to pay for shipping, anyway. More and more online retailers are doing business this way - it saves the retailer from having to warehouse all that merchandise, and is much cheaper to run a business this way. And the savings are passed on to you. :)

I got mine from Birds Comfort also.. no problems. As far as the shipping goes, the price of gas- as much as these cages can weigh- having one delivered to your door may be worth a second thought.
