I've read about the benefits of flax seed and wonder if it can be given to p'lets as raw seeds or does it need to be cooked? thanks.........

I offer them dry as well but it is best if you grind them up first to release the nutrients into the digestive system, otherwise they can pass through virtually untouched.

I feed them raw, cooked (in cookies) and sprouted. Can't do very many sprouted at a time though. They are too oily.

YES! I tried sprouting them one time and they got all slimy and nasty! Threw them out!
