Ok so I got this Awesome deal on Craigslist for a cage that is like brand new! I got it home and OMG, it is HUGE!! I am wondering if it is to big for her! It is 26"w x 20"d x 36"h living space with 1/2" spacing.
Here is a few shots of Willow in her new cage and then a shot of her old cage next to it so you can see the difference!

It's definitely not too big! I had the same cage for Jinx, but have since upgraded her cage since then. I'm sure Willow will love the cage!

I have my Parrotlet in an HQ Flight Cage, and also have my Conure in the same exact model. They BOTH use every inch of their cages! You might check out the housing section of this forum, and you'll see that most of us have pretty large cages for our Parrotlets. They are busy, active birds and need lots of room to explore and toys to play with.
Here's the cage I have for Angelina, my Parrotlet -- if you look closely, you'll see her, way on the bottom left -- this will give you some idea of how big her cage is -- she loves it!

Thanks Everyone! I like that it is not only large but pretty because it sits in my living room.
She just looks so tiny in the cage...lol She has pretty much stayed on the top in one corner, but it has only been one day, hopefully she starts to explore it more tomorrow!
Wow JoAnne, your house looks like parrotlet heaven!! I wanna live there!

Thanks, crys1205! Actually, Angelina has her own room! I gave up my sewing room/guest room and made it into her room -- who needs to sew or have overnight guests anyway! LOL!

Birds are wild, they can't have a cage too big. Chipper has a flight cage, they like to use wide space and not just the space up and down. As long as they get to fly around a lot, a bit smaller isn't too bad. Chipper flies to and fro most of the day. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/Sally11/chipper/cagebywindowPICT0615.jpg
