Probiotic Suggestions?

Just returned from our fourth vet visit, finally with a clean bill of health!

Now my vet is recommending a probiotic- I'm kind of kicking myself for not starting him on one sooner. I was wondering if anyone had a particular favorite? Is Bene-bac as awesome as it sounds? Gel or powder?

I would quickly give the vet a shout and ask them which one they would recommend. Glad Rex is feeling better!

She gave me some recommendations but I was just curious to know if anyone else had any first-hand experience with a particular brand. And if the gel form was palatable or not. :)

benebac is the brand often reccommended on the Linnie FOrum

I have both the gel and powder form of Ben-e-Bac. I am using the powder right now and put it in Bodie's morning water and sprinkle it on his moist pellets and fruit in the morning.

When I was using the gel Bodie would eat some but a lot got flung on the walls and floor!
