I am having a site problem. Help?

Hi,

The problem is sometimes when I'm logged in and try to post, I get an error that I am not logged in. It says to refresh the page and then log in. At the top of the page it says "Welcome Jackorama", so I assume I am still logged in. I lose my post and have to start all over again. I find if I check the "remember me" box, I don't have the problem (so far). If I don't check that box, sometimes I can post a couple of times and sometimes it won't let me post at all.

Also, I have tried to post some pictures to the "Parrotlet Gallery" and receive an error about a problem writing the files and to try later. I checked the guidelines for the size and made sure that they are the correct sizes. I have been able to attach my pictures in a post and I have also been able to upload pictures to my album in the user profile. I just can't upload to the "Parrotlet Gallery".

Any help is appreciated.

You should contact Dave (the moderator) and I'm sure he can tell you what to do to correct the problem. He's the one that welcomes you when you join. I'm sure he will know...Good luck.......

That happened to me once I just closed the window completely and retried it and it was fine.

Whenever I try to post pictures into the gallery I get that same message. I can only post pictures ontio my posts and them I have to load my pics onto photobucket or tinypics than copy and past the image code.

Funny Jackorama, I am having the same problem. Told I am logged in, post a long new thread, then poof!.This has happened every single time since I introduced myself, and just happened again tonight. I'll try the "remember me" button. Actually, this post is a test.

Okay, here's the deal as I understand it:

If you are logged in and typing a message and it takes a while (don't know what the "while" is), say adding pictures and stuff, the program automatically logs you out - time expired kind of thing. Guess this is a safety measure.

To keep this from happening to me if I've taken a long time typing or adding pics, before I hit the "post" button, I highlight my entire post, right click, and select "copy". Then, if I've been logged out, I can log back in again, start a new message, right click and select "paste". I'll have my message and pics back without starting ALL OVER AGAIN! (Go ahead, ask me how I know this -- hee hee)

As far as the gallery goes, I'm not sure it's ever worked as long as I've been a member, so can't help with that. I just post my pics right in my message.

While posting normal messages, it happens to me if I have multiple IE windows to talkparrotlets open. So the solution is to have one window open.

Posting to the gallery does not work.
