I was expecting my Kiwi to start mimicing 6- 8 months. Well for the past two days, he has been flapping his beak with whistles. Tons of whistles.
His behaviors has changed also. He is not so scared anymore. He actually come out of the cage by himself and hangs at the top to whistle. When I am talking, whistling , or diong something, he flies over (or tries) to me to just stare at me. He trys to get as close as he can get to me while I am doing something. When he comes over, he is silent and jsut stares at me *disturbing, but cute*.
He whistles and cirps, but when my eyes point to him, he goes silent and stares at me. I think this is just bc he might think I am giogn to say something and he wants to listen.
