It's been 8 months now and my babies never took a bath....the home starts to smell like chicken...what can I do? Do you have the same problem?

I spray Paulie with a fine mist. Try to keep it out of his eyes....he loves it.

I don't necessarily think it's because they're not bathing. Though i do mist mine too with cool water (nothing else in it). My bird room always had a slightly birdie smell to it, I think it's from the feathers and dander that float around. I got a HEPA air filter years ago and it's made a giant difference with the smell :)

Get out the ol' dustcloth, Roddy! lol They do make a lot of white dust that seems harder to get rid of than plain dust. And I have 3 cages of finches too. (number is pretty small tho)

i quite like the birdy smell to be honest, although with ours its not bad smell, just kinda a bit musty, and almost sweet. i duno, maybe its just me
the amazon we had aaages ago used to smell really birdy, and it just reminds me of him
have you tried just leaving the tap running? Pickle doesnt really do baths unless the waters running. so when i clean him out in the morning i put a plate or ash trey or something under the tap on the draining board and just let the tap trickle into it and he loves it
its the only way i can get him to have a proper bath as hes not keen on the misting

I take Petie in the shower with me. I put a wash cloth on my shoulder and he perches there and then the mist and drops from the shower get him wet. He's not crazy about it but he doesn't try to get away.
