Can anyone help me!? i recently purchased some sisal twine from Home Depot to make some DIY toys for my baby Bella! My question is has anyone used this exact sisal twine before? it says 100% sisal, so im assuming it doesnt have any treatments that would be harmful to my parrotlet! but im not sure

Home Depot used to sell untreated sisal rope and twine. The one I went to stopped selling though. Typically it is easy to tell. Smell it. If it is heavily treated it will smell like oil. All commercial rope and twine will have come in contact with oil as it is used on the equipment when spinning the rope. Sisal is a dry rope should not have much oil used on it at all.
I prefer jute from the craft store myself though. But I have used lots of sisal and not a single problem.
