K. Kiwi is really cuddley now... he alwasy tries to get as close to my neck as he can, sometimes walking staright into my hair. (I have a lot of hair about 2 1/2 ft. long.) which he gets tangled in sometimes.

Everytime I leave the room he screams! He make loud chirps that peirces the sound barrier it seems. When I come back into the room, he stops immediately and when I am in the room, he flies to the front of the cage and stares at me until I let him out. When he is out, he flies right towards me on my sholder and sticks there until it has been long hours and I decide to put him back. Also, when I put him with other people he screams and flies off having them to get up and go get him.

Is this normal? He just started this 2 days ago. Is this a strong bond... even my old female cockatiel never acted like this to where she would scream for me.

It actually make me feel special to see a feather bird wanting me so willingly.

Birds do bond very closely with their owners over time :) However, if you do get another P'let chances are it will bond with it's mate more than you. If you enjoy the bond you both have I would opt out of adding another ;)
