Weird toe?

Kiwi has three toes at the front of his foot and only one toe at the back, we noticed this the first day we saw him but it's still there, any ideas??? :confused:

There may have been something that happened to the one toe when he was newly hatched or very young. As you know, all parrots normally have two toes facing forward, two back. Can you tell if he uses this toe or if it interferes in any way with perching? If it doesn't bother him, it probably will be fine.

She seems like she's fine, it's just that toe... It doesn't seem to bother her even though it kinda looks like it would be in her way...
