Hi I am Cory, I am new to this forum but not new to parrotlets. I got my ZuZu 7 years ago, when I was suffering from empty nest syndrom! Well that started a whole new batch of issues. LOL ;) I was smitten! Like potato chips you can't have just one! LOL But I decided to get other types of parrots. My life long dream was an African Grey. The lady I got ZuZu from just happened to be feeding Baby greys for a friend of hers. So along comes Tucker! Then I was offered a MBC so Sparkle entered our lives. A few months ago Pete was given to us. He is a 3 year old parrotlet.
To make a long story short. Today ZuZu decided to lay an egg  ! They aren't in the same cages! So I know this egg isn't viable. My Question is will the December/May relationship work? LOL Should I even consider breeding them? I have hand reared lovebirds and quakers for friends so this isn't something new to me. If I do decide to go through with this - do I move them into a cage that doesn't belong to either of them. (worried about the territorial thing here)
Anyways thanks for letting me be a part of this communtity.

Glad to meet you both and welcome. I can't help with breeding issues but others here can. Please join in the dialog you are welcome here.
