help again! Red Spot on Eye

There's a red spot at the corner of his eye! It's not AS evident in the picture but still identifiable. The other eye is perfectly fine. anyone know what this is, what i could do to help? i'm suspecting maybe when he scratches himself with his sharp claws, that's when it got a bit injured.

I went back and read all your posts to see what else you have mentioned. The concern over his beak flaking and this new issue with his eye may be a good reson to go and let a vet take a look at him. I would rather be safe than sorry, they will advise you better and you'll have peace of mind.

I have to agree, it is due past time to take Atlas to an appropriate avian veterinarian. You HAVE to consider this when taking any animal into your care, it is just one of the many responsibilities.

i'm so happy! when i woke up this morning, the redness was all gone, there was only a thin "streak" left so now i'm almost positive it's his claw that scratched his eye. he's getting better =) thanks for all your concerns, if anything happens again, or it gets worse, i will bring him to a vet! my sister knows a vet!

Yes, but does she know an avian vet? Preferably board certified avian.
