Hi, everyone! I just joined, and posted in the into forum. I am meeting a couple of parrotlets later this week, and I hope to bring one home, depending on their personalities. I've owned birds for a few years, and currently have a lovebird, so I'm definitely ready for the challenge of another fiesty demanding little feathered one. :)

I know they need large cages - if I bring one home, it will be pretty young still, so he/she will be starting off in the cage my lovie lived in when he was a baby, and when he/she is older, he/she will be getting a larger cage.

This is the baby cage. Not huge, but perfect for little ones with poor balance. :)

This is what he/she will be living in until a little older... my lovie, Jinx has this cage and we both LOVE it!

I'm so appreciative about people providing the upmost for their animals and researching. HQ and A&E models are great for biosterous little p'lets.

Good luck with your new baby... we love pictures! :D :D

I can't wait! And isn't Jinx one of the best names? :)

Those cages are perfect! Herbie had a "baby cage" similar to the first one you posted. It was good for the first month and a half I had him home. They are so clumsy when they are little! He has the HQ cage you posted 2nd and it's a great cage.

Good luck with your birdie!
