who here doesn't clip their bird's wings? I had mine clipped when I first got him and I hated it. it seems so unnatural. PLUS they get exercise by flying. you just have to be extra careful! I don't want my bird getting fat and dying cuz he doesn't get enough exercise.

Our current birds (budgies) don't have their wings clipped because they're not trained in the least bit. Sam never really got his wings clipped either because he wasn't much of a flyer.

you have budgies? not parrotlets?

I used to have a budgie. I miss him SO much!! I lost him last december. One main difference between the parrotlet and the budgie that I've noticed is that budgies are always angry!! haha I don't know what was up with my last one, but he was mad at the whole world except me. Parrotlets are more affectionate.
