I am going to order an HQ cage today...oh goodie!!. My p'let is currently in a parrot habitat from Petco. it is 25"L X 21"W X 30"H with 1/2 inch spacing and a very nice cage....BUT... I want a flight cage. I used to keep budgies way back when and they were in tiny little cages and even tho I loved having them I felt sorry for them. SO...I am getting an HQ cage for the p'let and our budgie is going into his mansion. Her cage is a very big cage to ( altho no where near as big as she will be moving into...lol) compared to cages I have had in the past...and who knows ..maybe some finches will end up in it...lol. I wish I had a room just for my birds and fish tanks...Oh well... Here is the cage I have now, and then the one I am getting. Champagne is sold out so I think I will get diamond blue...I can't wait.

Congrats! That is the same HQ I had for Oliver - he hated it! LOL it was just too big for him. Hes not a very active bird as it is so with all that space I know he was like "Ummm what am I supposed to do in here?" Its an awesome cage though - you will love it! So easy to move and clean, I never had a problem with it.

GREAT price! Congrats! I have THREE of them in Platinum, one for each P'let and they love them -- they fly and jump and chirp and carry on all day long!
I see their cages as their safe havens, where they have their own toys and food and plenty of space to explore. When Kiwi went from her first cage (18x18) to the HQ, she was like a different bird! So much more active! It's very easy to clean too -- and since I have 3, that's important! I wouldn't buy THREE of them if I didn't think they were great cages for the money!
ENJOY! Post pics when you're all set up!

You and your bird will love the cage! I only have heard of one or two (one reference is above) that didn't seem to do well in the HQ flight cage. You'll have to show us some photos when you get it set up.

Hey, is that the same cage as http://www.birdscomfort.com/flight_bird_cage.html
if so, I might just get one... $99 + shipping seems to be a AWESOME price considering the reviews everyone here gives it.

Yes, looks like the same HQ cage many of us have. Be sure to add in the shipping cost to see if that price is actually lower than the $135 paid above which includes shipping.

I did see that web site to in my search...but to get shipping quotes it says to call them. I found it just easier to order from the Americas-pet-store.com for the one flat price. Also the color I got was the blue which is 119 + shipping. It is scheduled for delivery tomorro.. I can't wait. I went out and spent $45 in toys and a few treats the other day...lol. Mostly for the budgie as she LOVES her toys and the p'let could care less for his , but as I rotate them every few days out of the budgie cage I put them into his cage hoping he will decide to play with one or two of them....so far not to much luck...lol. I may get 2 more male budgies as my S/I/L has two and her and her hubby are working full time and have no time to spend with them. She is thinking about giving them to me. Will 2 males budgies fight over a female if all in one cage?
