hi guy's.
i see from your pics a lot of you have them as we call birdy homes.
i had a conure that used to sleep in one.
we went away for a weekend, when we arrived back home we found out it had died.
my friend was looking after it for us, he lives next door.
the poor bird had got it's foot caught up in some of loose cotton thread inside,probally panicked and died.
you have been warned.
keep an eye out for any loose threads.
it goes to say i have never bought another one and never will.

These things can be dreadful. We had one young hen get caught in the tag on a happy hut! She tried to chew her leg off - through a lot of supportive medical care she healed fine.

The Cozy Parrot makes really nice cozy, sleepies that are proving to be much safer and I have not seen one thread like the other brands. The birds really do like these, but the previous brands I have used (as well as all bird toys and accessories) have to be checked daily for wear.
