Our Sam got pretty plump too. :p I thought it was actually a little cute. :) Maybe some more veggies and/or fruits?

I'm not sure about parrotlets, but I know giving budgies these egg biscuit things are good too. I've never even seen them, but people on my budgie site say they feed their birds egg biscuit things. I'll see if I can find some more information about this.

get your bird a low fat diet.

Hey Kathy,
that's good that he's a good weight. Keep in mind that the number one leading cause of death of domestic birds is fat tumors. From eating high fat diets, lots of treats, and not enough exercise.
