Hey everyone!
I'm new to this forum, but came here hoping your collective wisdom may help me out.

I have been SEARCHING (for almost a year) for an EZ Care Bow Front cage. I can only find the small size on Fosters and Smith (otherwise it's all "mini" sized).

Has anyone seen one of these cages cheaper than $400+?

Also, what are your thoughts on a glass front cage?

I have seen larger ones, but they aren't cheap, lol. They're very pretty, but in the end I look at a cage that's functional and above all else, easy for me to keep clean because the less time cleaning the happier I am. I think they're plexiglass not glass but anyway, I really think they'd be a pain to keep clean and not get scratched.

I have seen them at a local pet store....but not big ones. I also though wow that looks cool....ummm...but I bet it would be hard to keep clean. It is a great idea in theory but I wonder how practical in reality....good luck with your search.

I have never heard anything good about the cages with plexiglass fronts. They may look nice, but the material gets scratched (not so pretty), and the bird is somewhat isolated being behind a solid barrier. Ventilation is cut down too.

I only hear bad things about these, and i scoff at them when i see them at the pet stores. They just seem like... so confining to the bird. Also my neighbor who keeps a parakeet in one has hers all scratched, not to mention how messy of eaters parrotlets are. I know if figgy was in one with a strawberry.... boy would i have hours of work to clean up!

Air flow is important. I have not seen them, but I would prefer reg. cages with all open air flow.
