I'll consider this. I have a chat installed right now on Talk Budgies but it's been very buggy. I'm installing a different version of it soon, and if that works better I'll install it here too.

Not sure which chat you're using, but vBChat is fairly mature and has decent support forums -- http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=107
