Hey everyone, I've been out for a long while. But I've bought a new house and the birds have their own room. I've been looking for a timed dimmer type programmable control to replace the wall switch in the room.

Does anyone know of a switch that could be programmed to 'turn on' at a specific time at say 10% power, and then step up say another 10% every 10 or 15 minutes? Those numbers are just examples. Then I'd like it to start dimming in the evening in basically the reverse manner.

Does anyone know how I can accomplish this with just one (or maybe two) units?

Thanks

Hello! That would probably be a pretty expensive unit to accomplish that.. and im not sure it would just replace a wall switch as it would probably be a control unit, have you thought about maybe using 2 lamps on separate timers? One lamp with a very dim light to start then a second one over the cage??
I have spent years trying to get this right LOL I now live in a house with huge windows in Mavrics room so I am lucky that I get that effect with the daylight...

Good luck and ill keep an eye out for you next time Im at the electrical whole saler as I am an electrician!
